General

Do you have insurance?
Yes, we carry a $2,000,000 liability insurance limit and our units are inspected by the state of Texas.

Do you offer anything else that might not be on your website?
No. Everything we rent is on the website.

Do you bring extension cords?
Yes, we bring extension cords for the inflatables. We do not provide them for the concession machines.
The inflatable should be set up no more that 50 ft from a standard electrical outlet. Only one inflatable should be plugged into a single electrical circuit.

What should I do to get prepared for the set up of the inflatable?
The location must be free of rocks, sticks, branches, rough debris and fecal material. If you have a sprinkler system, please make sure the timer is off for the entire time the rental items are at your location.

What kind of surfaces do you set up on?
Our Inflatables can be set up on any level surface such as grass, concrete, asphalt or dirt. However, dirt requires an extra fee for clean up. Our drivers always carry stakes with them for the set ups. If you are planning on setting up your inflatable/carnival game on any other surface or inside, please specify at the time of reservation so we can bring sand bags instead.

What if the place where I want you to set up has a little slope?
A little slope might be OK for a castle, combo, or any other jumpy inflatable. It might not be too good for slides or Velcro walls. We will stake the inflatable to try to keep it from moving, however the ideal surface should be level.

Do you set up in parks?
Yes. Please make sure you have your park permit as many of them require it. Also make sure the park provides electricity.
For park reservations you need to mail, email or fax us a copy of your ID and a proof of residence. For a proof of residence you can use your electrical or water bill. A valid credit card will also be required to secure any park rental.

Do you bring the generator?
The rent of your inflatable does not include a generator. However you can rent them from us for an extra fee.

How much space do I need for an inflatable?
We provide measurements for all the inflatables in the photo gallery, however, please consider an additional 3 to 5 feet of unobstructed perimeter around each side of the inflatable and at the top for clearance.

Do you clean your inflatables?
Yes, we clean and sanitize our inflatables after each use with a non-toxic cleaner. So it’s clean and safe and ready to be used.

Where are you located and what are you hours of operation?
We are located at 10801 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78217. However, this is just a warehouse, if you want to come by, please set up an appointment, as we don’t have regularly scheduled hours.
We are available 7 days a week on the phones from 9am to 6pm.

Do you do parties at your location?
No. We only do party rentals.

Do you offer staffing for an event?
Yes. Please submit a quote request to check our prices.

When renting water items, what do I need to have ready?
You need to make sure we will be setting up your inflatable / carnival game close to a water source. You also must have a hose ready. We do not bring hoses or water with us.

Does the inflatable need a regular outlet?
Yes. A regular outlet will be sufficient for the set up of your inflatable. When renting big inflatables like the obstacle course or several inflatables at a time, we need to make sure the outlets we are using are from different electrical circuits in your home or building.

What are the rules for using an inflatable?
Adult supervision is required at all times
No shoes, eyeglasses, food, gum, candy or drinks
No climbing on the walls or netting of the jumpers
No flipping or somersaults
No SILLY STRING!!! No CASCARONES and CONFETTI!!!
Obey all rules posted on the inflatable and written in your contract.

Delivery and Pick ups

What does delivery include?
The delivery includes the set up of the inflatables and/or carnival games as well as concession machines, with an explanation on how everything works and safety rules. We set up all your items rented with the exception of the tables and chairs. Please refer to the tables and chairs section for more information.

Do you offer customer pick up?
Yes, you can pick up just about everything that we rent with the exception of the dunk tank.
We also offer a 10% discount if you pick up your items rented. The discount will be credited on the day of the pick up.

When picking up, when can I do the pick up and when do the items need to come back?
As long as the items you are renting are available the day before your reservation, you can pick them up then. Everything will have to be back the next day after your event between 8 to 10am unless otherwise specified in your contract.
Please make sure items are brought back on the times specified by your contract or you will have to pay late fees.

What do I need to bring if I’m picking up?
You need to bring you ID and a proof of residence. This could be your electrical or water bill. Full payment for the rental is also due on pick up.

Reservations

How do I make a reservation?
Two ways: Either by calling 210-849-8168 or on our website.

What forms of payment do you take?
We take cash, credit cards and business checks. Sorry no personal checks.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, every reservation requires a deposit. When booking online you will have the option to pay in full or have us call you to pay the deposit later.

When is payment due?
A deposit is due at time of reservation.  The balance is due on delivery or if you are picking up at pick up time.

What’s your cancellation policy?
Prior to one week in advance of an event date, customer may cancel with no penalty. Within one week but more than 48 hours in advance, clients might cancel but will not have their deposit refunded. Within 48 hours, cancellation will result in 100% payment being due. Such payment, however, may be credited to any future event held within 6 months of cancellation.

Weather cancellation exception: If the day of your event it is raining citywide or the winds are greater than 20 MPH, cancellation without penalty can occur as long as the cancellation is received prior to departure of our delivery vehicles or 9 AM whichever is earlier.

Jump & Party reserves the right to cancel a rental if in our opinion weather conditions create a dangerous situation to participants, Jump & Party staff, or our equipment.
Rain forecast of 70% or greater for the day of the event are likely to also result in a cancellation of our outside events.

How far in advance should I make my reservation?
The sooner the better. We recommend you make your reservation as soon as you have your party date schedule.

What is the rental period?
The rental is for the day. Anytime between the hours of 8am to 9pm with a maximum of 10 hours at a time. We can also pick up after 9 or leave the inflatable overnight for an additional fee providing the area is secure. We also do overnight parties, they work the same way as a regular day party. We deliver in the evening and pick up in the morning the next day.

How can I make sure you are going to “show up”?
We are a family owned business and have been around for over 4 years. We are committed to give you the best service not only by showing up, but showing up with an inflatable in good condition,  clean and on time for your party.
We will always call you to confirm a few days before your reservation. If you are scheduling a reservation over the internet, we will also call you to confirm we received your reservation and to answer any additional questions.

Do you take last minute reservations?
Not normally as we have to plan our deliveries with advance time, however, if you happen to be in a situation where you need our services last minute, call to find out if we have items available and can help you out. Assuming it is logistically feasible, we will make every attempt to accommodate your needs.
Before placing an online reservation within 48 hours of an event, please call to make sure we can accommodate your delivery or pick up.

Do you offer any kind of discounts?
We offer party packages with all the inflatables we own as well as some promotions through the year. Also if you like our Facebook page, you will always get a $5 to $10 discount. This discount gets applied every time you book a reservation with us over $100. Regular price parties get a $10 discount. Packages and discount parties get a $5 off. Please let us know when you book that you are member of our Facebook page. The name on the reservation must match the name on our Facebook fan page. Discount will get applied on delivery or if you are picking up, at the time of pick up.

Do you offer military discount?
Yes. Military discount is 10% of a regular price item(s). Packages don’t apply since they are already discounted. In order to get your discount we will have to get a copy of your military ID prior to the party. You can mail, email or fax the copy to us. Military discounts only apply to private events and are designated for the service member and their immediate family (spouse or children). Public events don’t qualify.

Please check our party package page for more information. Regular party package includes an inflatable, a concession machine with supplies, tables and chairs.

Concession machines

What concession machines do you offer?
We offer cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn and nacho machines.

What comes with the machine?
Popcorn: Includes supplies for 50 servings. (popcorn and butter kits and the bags)
Cotton candy: Includes supplies for 50 servings. (sugar and cones)
Snow cones: Includes supplies for 50 servings (6 different flavor syrups and the cones) You have to purchase your own ice.
Ice conversion: 1lb ice = 2 snow cones. Ex. 20 lbs ice = 40 snow cones. Always get additional ice for the ice that will melt in the process.
Nachos: Includes 1 bag of nacho chips, 140 oz bag of cheese and 30 trays.
Additional supplies can be purchase for all the machines.

Do I need to clean it after using it?
No, we will do the cleaning for you.

Are the concession machines hard to operate?
No, they are actually pretty easy. Our staff will show you how to operate the machine and how to use your supplies.

Tables & Chairs

What size tables do you have and what color?
We only carry the 6’ long tables. The color is white.

What kind of chairs do you have and what color?
We have plastic folding chairs. The color is off white, and beige.

How many chairs come with a table?
6 chairs come with a table. Additional chairs can be rented separately.

Do you set up / tear down tables and chairs?
No. We set them aside for you to set them up wherever you choose.
If you are having a big event and need to have your tables and chairs set up and torn down, we can definitely do this for you for an additional fee. Please just mention you need this service when making your reservation.

Can I rent just a few tables and chairs?
Our minimum rental for picking up at our warehouse is $50 and for delivery in the San Antonio area is $90. We don’t rent anything less that $50.

Do you have kids size tables and chairs?
Not at this time.

Carnival Games

What kind of carnival games do you offer?
Please refer to our photo gallery to see all the different options we offer for carnival games.

What kind of space do I need to set up the carnival game?
Each game requires a minimum of 10’ x 10’ space.

What do I have to remember when renting carnival games that require water?
You need to make sure we will be setting up your carnival game close to a water source. You also must have a hose ready. We do not bring hoses or water with us. We will leave the items ready for you to fill up at your convenience. We don’t stay to fill up water games nor do we fill up water balloons.

Do you stay to operate the game?
Not unless you are staffing your event with us. If you are using your own volunteers, we will train them on how every game is used.

Do you provide the prizes?
No.
